One trip example :
DAY 1 : Arrival
at the airport in the evening, and first night in a hotel in Dakar.
DAY 2 : Departure by minibus to
Bandiala, with a lunch break in Koalack, night in a guest house in Bandiala near Missirah.

| DAY 3 : Walk to the fishing harbour of
Missirah where we will find the pirogue (canoe) to reach the Sine Saloum islands.
Discovery of the bolong and the mangrove, and first night camping on the island "la
Femme du Marabout". |

| DAY 4 : Breakfast and departure for a
canoe trip to Bird Island, visit of Betenti village, picnic, fishing and swimming in the
bolongs before canoeing back to Baobab island where we will spend the night. |

| DAY 5 : Departure from Baobab Island, the
pirogue will leave us at the end of Kasoar Island for about an hour and a half walk to
observe many birds in a landscape of shells accumulated over centuries. Arrival in a
fishing village on the northern end of the island where the canoe will be waiting for us. |

| A
welcome from the local population, lunch, fishing, nap and swimming before leaving later
in the afternoon to Guior island where we will spend the night. |

| DAY 6 : Breakfast and walk to visit a
large fishing village of over 10000 inhabitants. We will then cross the wooden bridge that
goes from Guior island to Niodor village, visit the shells quarry and come close to the
holy forest. We will visit the building sites for large canoes (painting and cauking).
Picnic at the camp site, before canoeing in the afternoon to Baobab Tutti island. |

| DAY 7 : After breakfast and half an
hour canoeing, we will walk across Moundé village, and visit a fish drying plant before
crossing the mangrove and reaching a beautiful sandy beach. Lunch, swimming and nap before
getting to the guest house where we will spend the last night on land next to the islands. DAY 8 : Driving
back to Dakar in the morning, visit of the city before flying back to France. |

treks are easy, however it is recommended not to take along children younger than seven
years old. |
